How is the gold price determined?

We start from the day's per-gram rate for 24K gold, derived from the international spot price converted to rupees. That rate is scaled to your item's tested purity (22K, 18K and so on) and applied to the net weight after stones, lac filling and solder are deducted. Every one of those numbers appears on your written quote.

What documents are needed to sell gold?

One original government photo ID — Aadhaar, PAN, passport, voter ID or driving licence — is required for KYC. For high-value transactions PAN is mandatory. Purchase invoices are helpful but never compulsory, since we test the metal itself.

Is my gold tested in front of me?

Accepted Answer

Always. Testing and weighing happen at the counter with the analyser screen and scale display facing you. Nothing is taken to a back room at any point.

Question 4

How is payment made — cash or bank transfer?

Accepted Answer

Both. You choose cash or an instant bank transfer, and payment is released the same visit once you accept the quote. Larger amounts are settled by transfer in line with statutory cash-transaction limits.

What if I don't agree with the quoted price?

Accepted Answer

You take your gold home. There is no valuation fee, no cancellation charge and no pressure. You are welcome to keep the written quote and compare it with other buyers.

Is there a minimum quantity to sell?

Accepted Answer

No. A single earring, a snapped chain or one small coin is perfectly acceptable, and the per-gram rate is the same regardless of quantity.

Question 7

How does the Release Gold service work?

If your gold is pledged with a bank, NBFC or licensed pawnbroker, we verify the exact settlement figure with the lender, pay it directly to their account, and collect the released ornaments with you present. You then either repay us and keep the gold, or sell it to us at the day's rate and take the balance.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. AnjaneyaGoldPoint is a GST-registered business holding a valid municipal trade licence, and all gold held on our premises is insured. Our registration certificates are displayed at the counter and copies are available on request.

Question 9

Do you buy broken, damaged or unhallmarked gold?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Condition does not change metal value, and unhallmarked or inherited gold is tested on its actual composition rather than on a stamp.

How long does a valuation take?

Accepted Answer

Most visits are complete within thirty to forty-five minutes, including testing, weighing, quoting and payment.
